Anna Lindh Foundation International Journalist Award to Keshev Executive Director Yizhar Be'er.

The 2010 Journalist Award in the category of Cultural Heritage was awarded to Keshev Executive Director Yizhar Be'er in October 2010 at a ceremony in Monaco in the presence of Prince Albert II of Monaco.

Be'er was awarded the prize for his column "The City and the Dogs", first published in English in the Huffington Post in the U.S.and in Hebrew translation in "Haoketz".

The column details the conflict in Jerusalem through analysis of giant wall paintings spreading throughout the Old City into the Silwan neighborhood to the east.

The judges cited that the column succeeded in clarifying in an exceptional way the values of art and culture in a volatile area in the Middle East.
